"The best coaches in the world didn't get there alone. They had mentors, peers, and trusted voices who pushed them, challenged them, and told them the truth when no one else would. Now every coach has that."

The Coach Kennt Philosophy

Every coach.
Every situation.

01
The veteran who's seen it all

Decades of experience, but fewer people to challenge them honestly. Coach Kennt is the peer who pushes back in a safe space, without the ego cost.

02
The young coach finding their voice

Too much to learn, too afraid to ask. Coach Kennt is the mentor who never makes you feel like you should already know the answer.

03
The coach who carries it alone

Losing sleep before the big game. Processing a tough loss at midnight. Navigating a player situation with no one to call. Coach Kennt is there.

04
The tactician who obsesses

Wing-T against a bear front. Zone defense against a spread. Coach Kennt goes as deep as you do, then points you to the resources that go deeper.

05
The leader who struggles to communicate

Great with kids, but hard on staff. Avoids the hard conversations. Coach Kennt helps build the relational intelligence that transforms a program's culture.

06
The new hire starting from scratch

New school, new staff, new roster, new expectations. Coach Kennt helps you read the room before you've earned the trust to ask anyone directly.

07
The coach who needs a mirror

Good at the craft. But tends toward blame when things go wrong. Coach Kennt is the honest voice that helps you see the full picture before you act, and holds you to the standard your program needs.

Built for the full
range of coaching.

Tactical intelligence

Scheme matchups, opponent tendencies, situational adjustments, and game planning grounded in real coaching knowledge across every sport. Web-connected and always current.

Relational depth

Staff dynamics, player behavior, parent communication, locker room culture. Coach Kennt listens for how you talk about the people around you, and helps you approach every relationship from a position of clarity rather than reaction.

Proactive check-ins

Coach Kennt knows your schedule. It shows up before big games, after tough losses, and during the stretches of a season when coaches need support most.

Memory that builds

Every conversation adds to Coach Kennt's understanding of you. Your tendencies, your triggers, your program. The longer you use it, the sharper it gets.

The full picture

When a coach is locked into one interpretation of a player, a parent, or a situation, Coach Kennt widens the lens. Not to excuse difficult behavior, to help coaches respond from clarity instead of reaction. The most effective coaches are the least reactive people in the room.

Resource intelligence

When Coach Kennt reaches the edge of what it knows, it tells you where to go next. Books, clinics, film, podcasts, databases. The full landscape of coaching knowledge, curated.

Collective wisdom

When you choose to share an experience, it contributes to a private pool that makes Coach Kennt smarter for every coach in your program. Your football coach's player situation. Your basketball coach's parent conversation. When one coach learns, the whole staff benefits. Sharing is always optional, always anonymous, always one conversation at a time.

Any question.
Any hour.

Coach Kennt
You
We run Wing-T and we're facing a team Friday that plays a 5-2 bear front all game. I'm struggling with the kick-out blocks on the edge.
Coach Kennt
The bear front collapses the B gaps and takes away your traditional buck sweep kick-out by pinching the ends inside. Your best answer is probably the belly series with a guard pulling off the center. The defensive end is already leaning inside, so you're pulling him further out of his gap rather than trying to kick him out from the outside. Two questions before we go deeper: what's your fullback's ability on the trap? And are they committed to the bear all game or do they stem to a four-man front at the snap?
You
Fullback is strong on the trap. They've been pretty committed to the bear all game on film.
Coach Kennt
Then you have a real answer. Run belly trap at the nose, and if they start sliding the nose you have the counter back to the off-tackle. The bear wants to stop what you do best, so make it defend something it isn't built for. Worth reading tonight: the Delaware Wing-T coaching manuals cover odd front adjustments specifically. I can walk you through the core concepts now if that helps you get there faster.
You
My best player is killing team chemistry. Incredible talent but the other kids are starting to resent him. I don't know whether to start limiting his role or let it ride because we need him to win.
Coach Kennt
This is one of the most common and genuinely difficult situations in coaching, and there's no clean answer. Before we talk about his role, I want to understand the resentment. Is it about his attitude in practice, how he carries himself after wins and losses, or how he treats teammates when the ball isn't in his hands? The answer changes what you do next significantly.
You
All three honestly. He checks out when he's not involved. Pouts after losses. And he's started doing this thing where he just ignores teammates who he thinks made the wrong play.
Coach Kennt
Then the talent question is secondary right now. What you're describing is a player who hasn't been held accountable at a level that matches his ability, probably for a long time. Limiting his role without a direct conversation first will just create a martyr. He needs a private conversation where you name exactly what you're seeing, what it costs the team, and what changes. Not a threat. A standard. The question is whether you're ready to have that conversation and hold the line if he tests it. That's the harder part, and it's worth thinking through before you sit down with him.
You
It's 1am. We lost tonight and I can't sleep. I keep going over every decision I made and I'm starting to wonder if I'm even the right person for this job.
Coach Kennt
I'm here. Tell me what happened tonight.
You
We had them. Up six with four minutes left. I went conservative and they came back and beat us by three. I should have kept attacking.
Coach Kennt
That's a real loss and it's going to hurt for a while. Let it. But let's separate two things before you spiral further. The decision you made at the end was reasonable with what you knew in the moment. Coaches make conservative choices with leads all the time. Sometimes it works. Tonight it didn't. That's different from being the wrong person for this job. The fact that you're up at 1am going over every decision tells me you're exactly the kind of coach your kids need. The ones who stop caring are the ones who sleep fine. What did you see in your team tonight that you can build on?

Coach Wellbeing

Burnout, balance, why you started

Built from
the inside out.

"Most coaches spend their careers giving everything to everyone around them. Their athletes. Their staff. Their program. And they do it largely alone."

Coaching is one of the most demanding callings in the world. It requires tactical brilliance, emotional intelligence, relational skill, and the kind of daily resilience that most professions never ask of a person. And it is almost always done without adequate support.

The veteran coach who's been doing it for thirty years has stopped asking questions because asking feels like weakness. The young coach who's two seasons in is learning by making mistakes in front of kids who deserve better. The coach in the middle of a losing streak is processing it at midnight with no one to call who really understands.

This is the gap Coach Kennt was built to close. Not to replace the human relationships that make coaching meaningful. To make every coach sharper, more prepared, more self-aware, and less alone in the moments that matter most.

Sport changes lives. The people responsible for that deserve a resource worthy of the mission.

Coaches report significant burnout within their first five years. Isolation, lack of feedback, and the weight of responsibility are the most commonly cited reasons.
